Role of our Temporary Manager

Supervision and direction:

Supervises the work of all hotel employees, sets clear goals, and motivates the team.

Planning and coordination:

Plans hotel operations, including reservation management, events, budgeting, and marketing strategies.

Financial management:

Manages the hotel budget, analyzes and interprets financial data, monitors income and expenses, and seeks opportunities for improvement.

Quality and customer satisfaction:

Ensure an excellent guest experience, resolve complaints, respond to inquiries, and seek feedback to continuously improve.
Staff Relations:

Manages staff, including recruitment, training, professional development, and conflict resolution.
Sales and Marketing:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
Maintenance and safety:

Oversees facility maintenance, ensures compliance with safety standards, and resolves problems.
Collaboration with external parties:

Works with suppliers, travel agencies, and other partners to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
Leadership and strategic management:

Defines the hotel's vision and strategy, makes important decisions, and leads the team toward success.

University Degree:

As a company policy, all our Temporary Managers are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hotel Business Administration.

Master's degrees:

A large number of our Temporary Managers hold a Master of Science in International Hospitality Management. This is a certification that Avanza requires to join our team.

Practical Experience:

Avanza's Temporary Managers have extensive experience in various roles within a hotel, such as reception, room service, or food and beverage, which is essential to understanding operations and guest needs.

Leadership:

Avanza requires proven leadership to become a Temporary Manager, you must be able to motivate, direct and supervise a team of employees.

Financial Management:

Our Temporary Managers must have at least an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Executive Finance Program, which is essential for a solid understanding of finance, budgeting, and cost control.

Hospitality Market:

Understanding trends, competitors, and traveler needs is crucial to a hotel's success. Avanza Temporary Managers must have completed at least an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Marketing Administration.

Hotels Technologies:

Familiarity with hotel management systems (PMS), reservation systems, and other technologies is important. All our employees must have extensive knowledge of technological systems.

Languages:

At Avanza, we require English as a second language, which is essential to fill Temporary Manager positions. Our primary language is Spanish, as we are dedicated to the Spanish-speaking market.
